Lobby Receptionist/Assistant Office Administrator

 

An outgoing, friendly, professional individual with strong verbal and written communication skills to greet and assist potential and existing customers upon entering the lobby. Should be willing to help individuals with studio inquiries. Applicant should understand all facets of the daily functions of the dance studio. Applicant should have the unique ability to impart policies and procedures in a clear, effective, and friendly manner to assist customers with appropriate enrollment choices. 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Daily preparation of studio facilities for classes and clients*

  • Answering phones

  • Assisting customers and clients with questions

  • Responding or directing email inquiries to correct staff

  • Calculating tuition and fees

  • Able to help individuals navigate our website and portal 

  • Able to instruct clients how to complete online registration

Computer skills – knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Web- based data entry

 

*Light housekeeping duties before start of classes.

Keep reception area, office area organized and professional

Keep bulletin board announcements current

Assist students in locating the classrooms

Watch the reception areas for suspicious activities or persons.

Be able to handle emergencies while keeping director informed.

 

Dance background helpful.
